Ankit Group's Significant Contribution to India's Space Endeavors

The Ankit Group, an SME based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, has become a vital contributor to India's expanding space sector, with notable involvement in the upcoming Chandrayaan-3 mission that has successfully landed on the Moon's South pole on August 23, 2023.In February 2023 , the Ankit Group achieved a significant milestone by presenting 3D-printed Grid Fins for ISRO's human space program. This achievement, making it a key step in India's space exploration, was formally handed over to ISRO Chairman Shri. S. Somnath.

For the Chandrayaan-3 mission, the Ankit Group has played a crucial role by supplying components for every stage of module deployment. Notably, they are the only Indian company authorized to manufacture specific mission-critical components. Their commitment ensures the success and durability of space missions.Chandrayaan-3 diverges from its predecessor by not featuring a rover. Instead, it introduces the Spectro-polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth (SHAPE) payload. SHAPE's mission is to study Earth from lunar orbit, providing a stable trajectory with minimized chances of communication disruption or path deviation.

The Ankit Group is honoured to contribute its skills and expertise to India's space exploration efforts, playing a role in enhancing India's standing in the field of space technology.

The Ankit Group's expertise covers a range of components, including alloy steel and stainless steel fasteners, along with specially crafted titanium bolts featuring Ion Vapor Deposition (IVD) coating. This specialized treatment significantly enhances mission durability and performance.
